Beautifully restored and expanded in 2024, the circa 1800 Thomas Bennett House at Westport’s Compo Beach combines the crispness of new construction with the unique character of a vintage home. 200-year-old wide-plank floors, fireplace mantels and beams grace a newly created open floor plan that perfectly supports today’s lifestyles.

Further Afield is the recipient of a 2025 Preservation Award from the Historic District Commission of Westport in recognition of its historically sensitive rehabilitation of the c.1800 Thomas Bennett House.
