Elayne and Rachel are the mother daughter team behind Further Afield. Together they breathe new life into historic properties in their home of Fairfield County, CT.

Elayne Landau has worked in real estate for over 30 years, first as a real estate attorney in NYC and then as a broker,  investor and developer in Connecticut.  Elayne is thrilled to now pursue a lifelong passion for antique homes and help preserve the historic charm and character of the streets and neighborhoods she calls home in Westport and throughout Fairfield County.

Rachel Landau Fisher is a designer and experienced project manager. Having spent the first decade of her career working at nonprofits and philanthropic institutions, she is embracing her love of design and renovation, building a family business saving old homes.
